Welcome to Sowena. Before you embark on a wellness journey with us, we kindly ask you to review and acknowledge the following terms and conditions:

For Retreats:

1. Reservation and Payment:
a. To secure your spot on our retreat, you must pay at the time of booking.
b. Payments can be made by debit or credit card through our website.

2. Retreat Itinerary:
a. Our retreat itineraries are carefully planned to provide you with a fulfilling and rejuvenating experience. However, please note that they are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.
b. We reserve the right to modify the retreat itinerary, including activities, workshops, and activities, as necessary. Any significant changes will be communicated to you in advance.

3. Participant Responsibilities:
a. It is your responsibility to disclose any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, or physical limitations that may affect your participation in the retreat. You will be prompted via email to disclose anything relevant, specifically in relation to yoga or breathwork.

Terms and Conditions – No Refunds within two weeks (14 days) of cancellation
We understand that sometimes circumstances change, and you may need to cancel. However, we kindly request that you carefully read and acknowledge our policy regarding refunds within two weeks of cancellation.

4. Refund Policy:
a. We offer a full refund or date swap for cancellations made more than fourteen (14) days before the date of the retreat.
b. Cancellations made less than 14 days before the retreat start date are non-refundable.
c. We may offer you the opportunity to swap date where possible.
d. In exceptional cases, where there are extenuating circumstances, we may consider refund requests within the 14 day period on a case-by-case basis. Such requests should be made in writing and include detailed information about the circumstances that warrant an exception to our policy.

5. Compliance:
a. By making a purchase and booking onto our retreats, you agree to abide by our refund policy.
b. It is your responsibility to familiarise yourself with our terms and conditions, including this refund policy, before making any booking.
c. Please note that our refund policy is designed to ensure fairness and maintain the running of retreats in the event of numerous cancellations. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to these terms and conditions.

6.Liability:
a. While we take utmost care to ensure your safety and wellbeing during the retreat, we cannot be held liable for any injuries, illnesses, losses, or damages that may occur during your participation.
b. Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings and are encouraged to take appropriate precautions to protect them.

7. Cancellation:
Sowena, being a non-profit company, operates on a cost-sharing basis, necessitating a minimum number of participants to cover the costs of the retreat. If minimum numbers are not met then Sowena reserve the right to cancel the retreat up to 1 week (7 days) before the retreat date. In the event that Sowena cancel the retreat you will receive a full refund.

8. Code of Conduct:
a. We expect all participants to conduct themselves in a respectful and considerate manner towards fellow participants, class teachers and the retreat environment.

For Cabilla Cornwall Weekend Wellbeing Retreat

Welcome to Sowena. Before you embark on a wellness journey with us, we kindly ask you to review and acknowledge the following terms and conditions:

1. Booking and Payment
1.1. A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total retreat cost is required to secure your booking.
1.2. Full payment must be received at least 28 days before the retreat start date. Failure to remit the balance on time may result in forfeiture of your booking and deposit.
1.3. Payment can be made through bank transfer, credit card, or any other method specified at the time of booking.

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
We understand that sometimes circumstances change, and you may need to cancel. However, we kindly request that you carefully read and acknowledge our policy regarding refunds within two weeks of cancellation.
2.1. If you cancel your booking more than 28 days before the retreat start date, you will receive a refund of any amount paid minus the non-refundable deposit.
2.2. Cancellations made within 28 days of the retreat start date will result in the forfeiture of the total retreat cost, unless we are able to fill your spot.
2.3. In the unlikely event that the retreat is canceled by us, you will receive a full refund of all payments made.
2.4. By making a purchase and booking onto our retreats, you agree to abide by our refund policy.
2.5. Please note that our refund policy is designed to ensure fairness and maintain the running of retreats in the event of numerous cancellations. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to these terms and conditions.

3. Participant Responsibilities
3.1. Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from the retreat location.
3.2. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure they have adequate travel insurance to cover any personal loss, injury, or illness.
3.3. Participants must inform us of any dietary requirements, allergies, or medical conditions at least 28 days prior to the retreat.
3.4. Participants must not light, or allow to be lit, any fire, candle or other naked flame in the Accommodation (save for within the log burner provided) or elsewhere at Cabilla’s Site.
3.5. Participants must not allow any unreasonable noise at the Accommodation or elsewhere on Cabilla’s Site.
3.6. Participants must not smoke in the Accommodation or any other building on Cabilla’s Site (smoking is permitted at the nature pond outside the Barns only).
3.7. Participants may not drink any alcoholic drinks brought onto Cabilla’s Site anywhere on site other than in your Accommodation.
3.8. Participants must not bring, or allow the entry of, any pets or other animals to Cabilla Cornwall.
3.9. Participants must not remove any Cabilla Cornwall property (save for any Cabilla Cornwall gift items) from the Accommodation or Cabilla’s Site.
3.10. Participants must not use Cabilla Cornwall’s wi-fi network in any way that breaches applicable laws or regulation, has unlawful or fraudulent purpose, to transmit unlawful or harmful content or in any way which may cause harm to others.

4. Code of Conduct
4.1. We are committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment. Discriminatory or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in the participant being asked to leave the retreat without a refund.
4.2. Participants are expected to respect the property and facilities provided. Any damages caused by a participant will be charged to the individual responsible.

5. Liability
5.1. While we take utmost care to ensure your safety and wellbeing during the retreat, we cannot be held liable for any injuries, illnesses, losses, or damages that may occur during your participation. Participants attend at their own risk.
5.2. We are not responsible for any personal items lost or stolen during the retreat. Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings and are encouraged to take appropriate precautions to protect them.

6. Changes to the Program
6.1. We reserve the right to make changes to the retreat program, schedule, or instructors if necessary. Any significant changes will be communicated to participants as soon as possible.
6.2. No refunds will be given for changes to the program or schedule.

7. Privacy Policy
7.1. Any personal information collected during the booking process will be used solely for the purpose of organising the retreat and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

8. Photography and Media
8.1. By attending the retreat, you consent to be photographed and recorded. These images and recordings may be used for promotional purposes by Sowena Cornwall.
8.2. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please inform the event staff upon arrival.

For Sowena Sunshine & Soul Fest:

Event Details

– Date and Time: Saturday 29th June from 2.30pm – 10pm

– Location: Part Primrose Farm, Killifreth Hill, Chacewater

2. Health and Safety
a. Attendees are responsible for their own health and safety throughout the duration of the Event.
b. Please consult with your GP or speak to the yoga teacher for advice before participating in any yoga activities if you have any health concerns.
c. The Event organisers and property owners are not liable for any injuries, illnesses, or other health-related issues that may arise during or after the Event.
d. All attendees must follow any safety instructions provided by the Event organisers.

3. Assumption of Risk
a. While we take utmost care to ensure your safety and wellbeing during the event, by entering the farmland venue, visitors acknowledge and assume all risks associated with walking on uneven ground, which may include, but are not limited to, natural terrain variations, holes, loose soil, rocks, and other potentially hazardous conditions inherent to a rural environment. The venue is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses resulting from such conditions. Visitors are advised to wear appropriate footwear and exercise caution while on the premises. By participating in any activities or simply traversing the area, guests accept full responsibility for their safety and agree to hold the venue harmless from any claims or liabilities arising from the aforementioned risks.
b. Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings and are encouraged to take appropriate precautions to protect them.

4. Code of Conduct

5. Photography and Media

6. Force Majeure
a. The Event organisers are not responsible for any cancellations or changes due to circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, or other emergencies.
b. In the event of a cancellation due to force majeure, the organisers will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the Event or offer an alternative arrangement.

7. Amendments to the Schedule
The Event organisers reserve the right to amend the event schedule at any time depending on any unforseen circumstances and sickness of artists. Any changes will be communicated to attendees via email or the Event website.
