Terms & Conditions for Sowena Sunshine & Soul Fest

Welcome to Sowena Sunshine and Soul Fest (“the Event”). By purchasing a ticket and/or attending the Event, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Event Details

– Date and Time: Saturday 29th June from 2.30pm – 10pm

– Location: Part Primrose Farm, Killifreth Hill, Chacewater

1. Reservation and Payment
a. To secure your spot at our event, you must pay at the time of booking.
b. Payments can be made by debit or credit card through our website.

2. Health and Safety
a. Attendees are responsible for their own health and safety throughout the duration of the Event.
b. Please consult with your GP or speak to the yoga teacher for advice before participating in any yoga activities if you have any health concerns.
c. The Event organisers and property owners are not liable for any injuries, illnesses, or other health-related issues that may arise during or after the Event.
d. All attendees must follow any safety instructions provided by the Event organisers.

3. Assumption of Risk
a. While we take utmost care to ensure your safety and wellbeing during the event, by entering the farmland venue, visitors acknowledge and assume all risks associated with walking on uneven ground, which may include, but are not limited to, natural terrain variations, holes, loose soil, rocks, and other potentially hazardous conditions inherent to a rural environment. The venue is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses resulting from such conditions. Visitors are advised to wear appropriate footwear and exercise caution while on the premises. By participating in any activities or simply traversing the area, guests accept full responsibility for their safety and agree to hold the venue harmless from any claims or liabilities arising from the aforementioned risks.
b. Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings and are encouraged to take appropriate precautions to protect them.

4. Code of Conduct
a. We expect all participants to conduct themselves in a respectful and considerate manner towards others, class teachers, artists and the event environment.

5. Photography and Media
a. By attending the Event, you consent to be photographed and recorded. These images and recordings may be used for promotional purposes by Sowena Cornwall.
b. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please inform the event staff upon arrival.

6. Force Majeure
a. The Event organisers are not responsible for any cancellations or changes due to circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, or other emergencies.
b. In the event of a cancellation due to force majeure, the organisers will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the Event or offer an alternative arrangement.

7. Amendments to the Schedule
The Event organisers reserve the right to amend the event schedule at any time depending on any unforseen circumstances and sickness of artists. Any changes will be communicated to attendees via email or the Event website.

8. Refund Policy
Sowena, being a non-profit company, operates on a cost-sharing basis. We understand that sometimes circumstances change, and you may need to cancel. However, we kindly request that you carefully read and acknowledge our policy regarding refunds within two weeks of cancellation:
a. We offer a full refund or date swap for cancellations made more than fourteen (14) days before the date of the event.
b. Cancellations made less than 14 days before the event start date are non-refundable.
c. We may offer you the opportunity to swap date where possible.
d. In exceptional cases, where there are extenuating circumstances, we may consider refund requests within the 14 day period on a case-by-case basis. Such requests should be made in writing and include detailed information about the circumstances that warrant an exception to our policy.

9. Compliance
a. By making a purchase and booking onto our event, you agree to abide by our refund policy.
b. It is your responsibility to familiarise yourself with our terms and conditions, including this refund policy, before making any booking.
c. Please note that our refund policy is designed to ensure fairness and maintain the running of  the event in the case of numerous cancellations. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to these terms and conditions.
