Our fund is empty at the moment, and it's empty for a good reason. Every penny has gone where it was meant to go. Three people in our community have come to the cabin for yoga and retreats they otherwise wouldn't have been able to reach.

Please still ask. Sometimes it means waiting until the fund has built back up again and I will let you know when we can fund your place.

If you're able to give, even a little, it goes straight back into the fund and helps someone else find their way here.

At Sowena, we believe that financial barriers should never determine who gets to feel well. This form is how you request a fully or part funded place at one of our classes or retreats.

There are no right or wrong answers here. Simply fill in what you feel comfortable sharing and we will be in touch.

Why we ask for some information

Funded places are paid for by donations, by people who choose the supporter price, and we hope by grant funding in future. Funders will ask us to show who we’re reaching, and being able to answer that is what allows us to apply.

These questions are optional, and skipping them will never affect whether you get a place. We’re grateful for whatever you feel comfortable sharing. Anything you do share stays private and is only ever used as anonymous numbers or comments in our applications.

    • The information you submit will be stored securely and accessed only by Sowena’s director(s).
    • Your data will never be sold, shared with third parties, or used for any purpose other than administering funded spaces and reporting anonymised demographic information to funders.
    • Anonymised data means your name and contact details are never included in any report — only grouped statistics.
    • You may request to see, amend or delete your data at any time by emailing hello@sowenacornwall.co.uk.
    • Data will be retained for a maximum of three years in line with standard funding requirements, after which it will be securely deleted.
